Access and correction
You can ask whether we hold personal information about you, request a copy and ask how it is used. You can also ask us to correct inaccurate information or complete information that is incomplete. Some information may be withheld where a lawful exemption applies, for example to protect another person's rights.
Deletion and restriction
In the circumstances set out by law, you can ask us to delete your information or limit how we use it. These rights are not absolute: for example, relevant records may need to be retained to meet a legal duty or deal with a legal claim. We will explain any lawful reason for declining a request.
Objecting to use of your information
You can object to processing based on legitimate interests because of your particular circumstances. Tell us which processing concerns you and why. We must stop unless we demonstrate a permitted overriding ground or need the information for legal claims. This website does not use contact-form submissions for direct marketing.
Portability and consent
The right to receive certain data in a reusable format, or have it sent to another provider, applies where the legal conditions for portability are met. It generally concerns automated processing based on consent or a contract; the website processing described in our Privacy Policy relies on legitimate interests or legal obligations instead. If we separately ask for consent for another purpose, you may withdraw that consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Make a request
Email hello@pufi.co.uk or use our contact form. Explain what you would like us to do and, if possible, the enquiry or information concerned. You do not need a special form or legal wording. We may ask for proportionate information to confirm your identity and protect your data; please do not send identity documents unless requested.
We respond without undue delay, normally within one month. If the law permits an extension, a pause or a fee, we will explain the reason and applicable timescale. Requests are normally free of charge.
Raise a privacy complaint
If you are concerned about how we have handled your information, email hello@pufi.co.uk or choose a privacy enquiry in the contact form. Describe what happened and the outcome you are seeking. We will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, investigate it and communicate the outcome without undue delay.
You have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. The ICO recommends giving the organisation an opportunity to resolve your concern first. Its complaints service is available at https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.

This page concerns the website and its correspondence. If your request concerns a Pufi app account, identify that in your message so it can be directed appropriately. Do not include your password or authentication codes.
