hello@pufi.co.uk

This policy explains how YUPI LABS LTD handles personal information when you visit pufi.co.uk or contact us through this website. It covers this website and its correspondence, not the separate processing involved in using the Pufi app.

YUPI LABS LTD
71-75 Shelton Street London / United Kingdom

Who is responsible

YUPI LABS LTD is the controller of the personal information described here. For privacy questions or requests, email hello@pufi.co.uk.

Information we receive

When you use our contact form, we receive your name, email address, selected topic and message. If you email us directly, we receive the information in your email and any subsequent correspondence. Please include only what we need to understand your enquiry; do not send passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information.

Our hosting service may record technical information such as your IP address, requested pages, browser information and access times in server logs. Contact-form security uses a temporary session identifier and a keyed, hashed version of your IP address with request timestamps to limit automated submissions. A hashed identifier remains personal information where it can be linked to you.

Why we use it

We use contact information and messages to respond, follow up and keep an appropriate record of your enquiry. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact Pufi. We use limited technical information to operate the website, investigate faults and protect the contact form from abuse, relying on our legitimate interest in maintaining a secure, reliable service. These interests must be balanced against your rights and reasonable expectations.

Where we must keep or disclose information to comply with a legal duty, our basis is compliance with that obligation. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing. The website does not use advertising or analytics trackers, and we do not sell the information collected through it.

Your choice to contact us

There is no legal or contractual requirement to send us an enquiry. The form asks for the information needed to route and answer your message; without a valid email address, we cannot reply. You can also contact us directly at hello@pufi.co.uk.

Who may receive information

Our authorised team and the hosting and email providers needed to operate this website and deliver correspondence may process your information. We may also disclose relevant information to professional advisers or competent authorities when necessary to meet a legal obligation or handle a legal claim. Access is limited to what is needed for the relevant purpose.

If processing involves a restricted transfer outside the UK, it must use a permitted transfer mechanism, such as UK adequacy regulations or appropriate contractual safeguards. You can ask hello@pufi.co.uk for information about the arrangements relevant to your data and any applicable safeguards.

How long information is kept

We keep correspondence for the time needed to answer your enquiry and deal with related follow-up. If a dispute or legal obligation requires longer retention, we keep only the relevant records for that purpose. Retention is assessed by the status of the enquiry, the need to document its resolution and applicable legal requirements; records are removed when those reasons no longer apply.

The contact-form security session becomes invalid after two hours of inactivity. Anti-spam identifiers and timestamps expire after 24 hours. Hosting access logs and email backups follow the relevant provider's retention arrangements and are kept only as needed for operation, security and recovery.

Your right to object

You can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. Email hello@pufi.co.uk and explain which processing you object to. We will assess your request and stop that processing unless a legal ground allows us to continue.

Your other rights and complaints

UK data protection law provides rights to access and correct personal information and, in relevant circumstances, to request deletion, restriction or portability. Our Data Protection page explains how to make a request. We do not use website data to make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

You can raise a privacy concern with hello@pufi.co.uk. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office: https://ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint/.

Cookies and updates

Our Cookie Policy describes the contact form's essential security cookie. We may update this policy when the website or our handling of information changes. The date shown on this page identifies the current version.
